The Women in Energy and Economic Sustainability Initiative (WEESI)
2nd Annual Essay Competition, targeted at Girls in Senior Secondary
offering STEM in Nigeria, is organized as part of Women in Energy and
Economic Sustainability’s initiative as we celebrate the “International
Day of The Girl Child” which aims to inspire Girls in Secondary school
offering STEM to learn more about the current and future trends,
innovations, and impacts of renewable energy, and how they can
contribute to this field as potential students, professionals, or
leaders.
Selection Criteria and Eligibility
•Must be a Female in Senior Secondary offering STEM subjects •Must submit a passport photograph
How to Apply
•Applicants must upload a scanned copy of their original birth certificates or international passport data page.
•Applicants must upload written essay in MS word format (not more than 800 words Min. 1000 words Max)
